I looked carefully at my HyperRev magazines, but didn't see any other areas (I looked at the rear reflectors on lower bumper) that needed trimming. Probably next photos will only show the end result, because I will be at work on Monday while they finish up the paint job.

I feel as if it's taken me longer to read through the pics and captions than it took to do the job AND upload the thread! haha!

well very cool, Lex...can't wait to see the end result.

p.s. you only sanded the bumpers because you were repainting them as a whole, right?! you didnt sand off any lines or grooves to change the look, right?

That's right. Lines are the same, but I had some torn up pieces of the bumpers due to hits, so we are repainting the whole things.

New update, we won't be getting back to work on painting the bumpers until Thursday morning. This is in part due to some logistics my uncle and I worked out.

Still a work in progress at this point, but by Friday we should be done. We decided to add another layer of protection in places, so Gilberto went to work on it this afternoon.

We went around and looked for every last chip, even minor, in areas.

And we even covered up the holes on the front bumper. Keep in mind my home state of Florida does not use a front plate, but my vehicle was once a DC, VA and NY vehicle, all of which use front plates.
