We have s 2002 RX 300. The remote to unlock the doors works when it wants and it seem to be location specific.
I have asked the dealer to replace it but I am getting the run around.
"Radio interference. New unit won't help"

I have a Toyota Sienna it acts up by the airport but work fine in the locations
the RX300 has problems.

New batteries do not help

Anyone else had this issue?
Did you resolve it?
If so how.

Welcome to Club Lexus.

I've never had this problem, or heard of anybody else having it. Do you only have one master (i.e., remote) key? If so, I'd be tempted to get an inexpensive used RX300 key on eBay and program it (using instructions on this forum) for your car. That would eliminate a weak remote transmitter as the problem. It's always good to have a second working remote, since if the only one is lost or gets broken you are somewhat screwed.

Another thing to try is the door electrical switches when you're having the remote problem, just to eliminate the possibility that the problem is not in the remote system.
