I don't know what "switch hanging" means. From a quick search # 077500-4690 is the interior air temperature sensor, not going to prevent starting. The "diagnosis" port may be the OBDII connector, don't know.

Start simple. Is it cranking? Is the security light off?

Key won’t turn or car doesn’t start? That’s 2 different things. If the key won’t turn the steering wheel is probably in the locked position. Wiggle the steering wheel left to right while turning the key. Car won’t start could be a million things.

Show us a pic. My key doesn't turn sometimes. I just need to replace my brakelight switch. In the mean time, right by the shifter is a release button. Pop the little cover off and press it in. Works 100% of the time.

We need a more clear description.

Is the key not able to turn in the ignition switch? Does it operate the door (not the remote, the actual key). Try the spare key or even Valet key.

The key and the inside of the ignition switch gets worn with use and after many years in use you may have to jiggle/tilt the key.
Mechanically the steering lock get locked when you pull the key in off position. If some one turns the steering wheel the cog gets jammed and prevents the ignition switch to be turned. Solution is to wiggle the steering wheel to release the bind.

Over years people have reported problems with the ignition key getting jammed. So this issue is not un-heard off. There are times when the owners have resorted to forcing the ignition key with key in it with strong pliers. I would suggest contacting a locksmith that deals with auto-ignition-switch.
