Default Serpentine Belt (2 Belt) Replacement

Hi,
I have a 2001 RX300 AWD and it hass 66,000 miles. It is time to change the serpentine belts because it's making noises. I called the dealer and they said that there are two belts. Can anyone tell me how to replace these two belts? What tools do I need? Pictures would be grateful... Thanks in advance.

The alternator has the tension mechanism for the top belt and the steering pump for the bottom belt. If you have replaced "v" belts on any vehicle, the process is simple. Getting the right tension requires know how.

The photo DIY is to tighten the AC/Alt belt, serpentine is another belt.
If you don't want to tighten them yourself, just buy belts online from Rockauto or Toyota and ask any mechanic to replace them for you.

I had an independent Lexus mechanic do mine recently. It looked easy, watching somebody who knows how. The access was interesting. He removed the cowling above the radiator to get a straight shot with a long socket at the top bolts. He removed the access plate behind the right front wheel to get access to the bottom stuff. The parts cost was about $55 (for the 2 belts).

Thanks all. I will try this soon---on a warmer day. It is now cold in Cincinnati. Again, Thanks.
