put in interior LED's. under the dash like my car. you could even do them under the back seats and attach an LED tube to the seat bars or w/e, but then make sure u dont slide the seats back and forth like i did and broke the tube

also on the inside you could change out all the bulbs with LEDs if u want.

DIY daytime running lights disabling...i did that too

ill have to ask about the foot well lights...but sounds cool!

i never use my daytime running headlights...i leave my headlights in the "On" position constantly so regardless of what brightness it is there's on 100% of the time

i definitely toyed around with the interior LED idea...and i REALLY wanted red ones. However that plan fell through. first off i think that the RX seriously lacks sporty looks in just about every aspect...the outside doesn't look too sport and the inside looks more focused on luxury than sport. i thought red LED's would give it a bit sportier of a look, however, then i realized i would have red LED's w/a blue LCD with white text...not saying anythings wrong with america but i dont want my car to be patriotic! i thought that it might look a bit ridiculous if i had red white and blue. other than changing them to red there's really no other color (red or organish, like in beamers, audi's, i think some volkswagons, and pontiacs.

One of my favorite RX300 exterior mod (excepting those with monotone RX300 versions) was to paint the lower body panels to match the rest of the vehicle. I actually had the idea that this increased the value of the vehicle at the time I did it (though I don't plan on ever selling).

yea some1 recommended for me to paint the lower part the same white as the rest of the car. never did it, but it sounds cool. they said it would make it look lower to the ground too...

also. do blue LED's haha. thats what i have. i'll post a pic later, but yea...i tried red actually, but it doesnt look good on the dark beige carpet...

lol. but yea and then jus wire them right to the fuse box near the footwell to the TAIL fuse and bingo.

Nothing yet, despite looking again on Saturday.

Might take some good looking around at other areas of the city. Too many guys were telling me, "this is the muffler you need" and I ended up telling them, "I need the muffler I want." Anything to make a peso down here.

I am going by Hangar 1 again in the evening to see if they have at least the resonator that I have been looking for, but they don't seem to carry the muffler I want. Even if it were available, it would cost about $350 USD, which is ridiculous.

nonono, lights in the footwells. there were a few threads around CL about changing the color of the dash lights...i found all DIY to be very tough and time consuming haha..

Lights rock. I also want to change out my dash lights. There are some guys here in Mexico who basically have little stores with what looks like boxes of different pieces for the dash and other lights and will right there come out and work with yout to install them. I have seen some fantastic examples of aftermarket installations at my track. Probably have to grab some shots next time of some of the vehicles.
