Default Wheel Questions????

New to posting but I have been following and reading the posts for some time...I'm a new RX300 owner and I can't believe the difficulty I'm having trying to purchase 17" chrome wheels for my vehicle. I'm getting the run around from dealers and aftermarket wheels shops. Some say anything will fit; others say nothing will fit; others say they can "make" anything fit...after reading the posts, it seems clear that this vehicle has some unique issues to deal with in the area of aftermarket wheels. Can anyone offer some guidance/wisdom in this area? I don't want spacers or adapters - I just want to purchase a set of tires and wheels and put them on the car and drive away lookin' stylish!!!! Any particular brand or model seem to be the right fit?

Default spacers

If you don't want spacers or adapters then you will have to stay with the original wheel sizes. That's becuase there is a clearance issue in the rear with the suspension, the coil spring to be exact. That's also why you can't use chains on the rear, and Lexus says chains only on the front can be too hazardous.

I have 17X8 wheels and 1" spacers on my 2001 RX300 AWD and it looks and works fine.
