The front passenger window has been acting up recently - it would go down when I tried to raise it using either the passenger-side or driver-side switch. Once it got all the way down it would eventually go back up. Yesterday it went all the way down and now won't raise at all. I've tried all of the suggestions in this thread but to no avail. I took the passenger door panel off but can't find any way to raise the window. I guess it is a problem with the master switch and I'll have to get a new one, but until then how can I get the window up if I have to drive in the rain, or park in a public place?

When I took the door panel off for the first time, I was able to move the window up and down after I took off the regulator to check it out.

Window Question
By "regulator" do you mean the arms that are driven by the motor to scissor together to move the window up? I can't get those to move, and I can't move the window up or down in it's track. When I activate the switch I can hear what is probably the relay click down by the motor, but no other sound.

If you haven't already take a look at this old thread of mine, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=217856
There are two screws (in addition to the four around the regulator) on the top of the upper arm, connected to the regulator (see post 3 in that link and you can see the holes for them on the top).
Yeah, it's a pain to do, which is why I suggest better yet checking to see if you have a dead motor there.

Okay, digging this one up from the grave...
I just finished doing my door lock actuator fix and I snapped some pix on my driver's and passenger's side window switch modules. It's been almost six years since I changed them out. For the life of me, I could not remember where the clips were.
So, while figuring out where all the clips were...I broke off a bunch of plastic clips and edges. Hopefully, the following pix will help others when they change out their window switch assemblies, or if they need to remove the door panels to get at the door lock actuators.
I have a 2001 Silversport, so hopefully, the plastic clips will be more or less in the same places.
Okay, so here we have the drivers side master switch assembly, slightly pulled out (complete with scratches all over the place from exploring where the heck the tabs were)

Front/top part of passenger side front swtich assembly
You can see where I snapped a part off. This snapped off area normally holds the screwed down metal spring clip similar to that of my photos of the drivers side spring clip.

Hope these pix help those who want to know where to insert their flathead screwdriver to pry off the power window switch assemblies.
In case you want to know the part #'s:
84040-48020-C0 = Drivers side master switch assembly (about $500.00)
84030-48020-C0 = Passenger side front switch assembly (about $300.00)
