If i had money, i'd get a silver sport, paint it vapor blue on the top, leave the silver on the bottom, and fix up the engine.

Would have gone in for a AWD- but AWD SS Black wasnt available when I bought mine. No complaints with the FWD still, but then, I dont know...kinda confiused LOL. I actually like the heated seats too. I wish they still had the Nak option- but even the base system is pretty good- all my friends are impressed by it.

I AM DOING IT AGAIN!

My wife has her choice of a MY2002 ML320 or an X5.

I bought a 2000 RX300 AWD and traded up to the 2001 RX300 AWD for the advantages of HID, VSC, and Trac.

Well, at least the HID is an advantage.

Before you buy an RX or HL AWD make the dealer prove, show you, that the vehicle can still move forward without the front tires having traction. Try the same test in a Chrysler T&C AWD and it will move forward (or backward).

I'd do it again, the only possible change would be not getting black. Just a tad more work to maintain it looking good, as opposed to a more forgiving color like silver.

I'd get the same vehicle again. (Every option available except rack and hitch, neither of which did I want) But HIDs not available in '99 or we'd have those too.

Default If I were to buy ANY vehicle..

I would sit in in for 24 hrs straight and see how my butt feels;

Drive it around town and see how it feels for a week;

Ask others what they think about it;

Have the dealer demo that it can run for atleast 100k miles without any problems;

And if I am buying an AWD I will have the dealer demonstrate that it can still move when suspended on its rear wheels...

<Will add more to the list as I think of more attributes>

We like our RX300 (65K mi.). Personally I think AWD was a waste of money but it gives my wife a sense of security (and no question it was great on the previous Subaru wagon we had, particularly in snow and rain) and it's probably a good thing for resale.
