Wow, ObiDon, looks great. I really like the shape of the tip. I wonder if that would fit with my trailer hitch...
Can you post a picture of a back view? Did you say you replaced the whole muffler right? Did you cut off right at the end of the old muffler, or back a foot or two where the pipe bolds on?
Thanks for the pic!

ObiDon,
With no disrespect I think twin square tips or twin round tips would of looked better on the RX but this is just my opinion.. How do you like the sound coming from the new exhaust??
Nick,
You know the Remus muffler I posted before that would look sweet IMO.. I called my muffler guy and he told me no problem fitting that on your RX if you don't have the tow package but he threw an idea at me.. Talking about a side exhaust just behind the rear wheel for folks with the tow kit.. He has a customer who has a '99 RX and if they do it I told him to take some pics..

Yeah, 2SAVVY, I remember that. If I were to change my exhaust I think I would like to keep in coming out of the back instead of the side, but my tow package does limit my choices. I'll bet the remus sounds great.
The Remus does look good, and would probably look great on the RX, I also like the shape of ObiDon's tip. But, both of those won't fit. Oh well, that not a big problem. I've grown used to my black muffler. It goes good with my trailer hitch
I've seen RMM's exhaust on an RX b/f on a used car lot. It looked kind of big. Still undecided on whether or not I like it or not. I guess I'll have to hear how it sounds to decide. I went back a couple days later to see if I could crank it up and it was gone No big deal.

ObiDon,
The price you paid is very good just still looks strange to me.. Just glad you didn't do with a DTM style one (That is the one that curves up.. I like to call that the "Rice Special" ).. So does it give you a deeper exhaust tone now from the V6??
I'd love to see a RX with dual exhaust (Single tips or dual tips on each side).. Imagine the looks from all the soccer moms.. hehe

WOW nice man nice!!!, how you enjoying your muffler? looks a bit weird tho... but its coo its coo. I'd rather have it more rounded... do you enjoy the sound? hows the deep throat? any performances?
Can i go to any Midas and ask them to install it for me also? hahah i might think of getting it also.

Hey Vapour,
First of all what a very nice colour.. Looks like a silver with a splash of blue mixed in.. Anyways back to your muffler question.. You should have no problems with an aftermarket muffler since your trailer hitch curves up.. An Oval tip like how the L-Tuned muffler on the GS might look really nice.. I'll post a pic of our GS with the L-tuned muffler..
