Opinions please... should I get the factory wheels in chrome?(millenium silver)

If so, are there any places that have chrome wheel exchange
deals?(i.e. the send me the factory wheels chromed and I send
back the stock wheels, plus a fee)

Thanks!

IMO chrome wheels only look good on the monotone black RX.

Or you could go with some 18 in wheels and bigger tires. I'm looking at doing that in the spring on my '01. The wheel form only seems to want to talk about GS or IS wheels, so finding the right answers there may not work out. In the RX form there have been threads about changing out the wheels, and to watch out for clearance on the rear struts. If you go tho this link an punch in the RX you will get a start on the sizes and wheels that are avaliable.

Then you can go to some of the sites from the Wheel Form an see more options.

If in fact that is the case 1SICKLEX, then the GS4s 17" Upgrade wheels would look sweet on a RX, would look sweet on any car.

I have yet to see an RX out there on the road with some upgraded RIMS (except in this gallery of course)

1SICKLEX, This is good news to me. So if all the GS/IS stock wheels will fit the RX does that also mean that all the 18 custom wheels will fit also? What I'm still trying to figure out is to go with an 18 wheel and 255x55 tires do I need to go to something other than the 20mm offset that is on the stock wheel? 40mm?

All the lexus wheels should work on other lexus vehicles becuase the bolt pattern is the same, but I think the offset is what is different, and incompatible with specific vechiles. There is so little clearance for the rear strut of the RX I don't think the GS 17's would fit w/o spacers. I sure would love to find out that they do! I have wanted to put the GS 17's on the RX for a while.

See my other post about our current battle with a dealer over warranty on a set of chrome wheels.
