Is RX300 woth keeping for 7+ years?

It's all subjective
Prior to my RX, I had a 1990 Acura Integra up until I traded it in '99. The car was great right up to the end at 125,000+ miles.
I expect to keep my RX at least as long and will likely replace it with another Lexus.
But some folks turn their vehicles around like the seasons and some will always want the latest and greatest. Me, I find what I like and tend to stick with it awhile.

If treated well, the RX "should" last 7 yrs or more.
The real question is as an owner do you intend to keep it for 7 yrs?

Tough to keep if you want the latest and the Greatest
I know the RX300 is built to last, but it's going to be tough to hold onto it for 7 years or more when you see the new 2003 REVAMP and all the new goodies and looks.
We all love to have the latest and the greatest, even if we can not catch up.
New is exciting.

I plan on keeping my RX for 10years or so. 150,000 miles +. We have a '92 Previa with 147,000 miles on it and it still looks almost new, and we take it on long 2,000 mile trips two times a year with no problems. We also have a '97 Avalon with 52,000 miles and no sludge . It has the same engine as the RX, and we plan to get 150,000 miles plus on it as well. Toyota/Lexus makes the best in the world, so keep it.

Has anyone heard this.......
J.D. power and Associates recently did a study on "DEPENDABLE OLDER VEHICLES" that were over 5 years old and Lexus and Toyota dominated the list of most dependable older vehicles!!!....hardly a surprise. I plan to put up to 400,000 miles on my 4-Runner with no major problems
