I see I can get the rear bumber protector for about $70. Does anyone know how to install? Thanks

It's REAL easy. All done with double-sided tape. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry. And just be precise as possible to making sure it's even on both sides. That's it! Have fun.

satxrx is right, it is a very simple. The most time and effort will be spend aligning the pad while sticking it to the bumper with the 3M tape on the backing. I installed one and love having it.

We actually applied a clear piece of Invinca-shield film on the back bumper. That way it looks like a normal bumper, but has the protection against scratches, dings, etc. Simply depends on whether or not you like the look of the pad. I wasn't crazy about it and it wasn't offered initially when we got our '99.
