Reprogram a used key?
I have acquired a "pre-owned" remote key and have bought a new shell for the electronics pod and had the key cut. I want to put the used pod in the new shell and reprogram it in order to have a second remote key. Can I do that without screwing up something since I have only the one original key now? And I'd like the instructions......especially if they work! Sorry if I've used incorrect remote key terminology, but I hope the message is clear. Thanks.

yes you can. I have done this successfully. Do the search. Be aware there are two things you need to program. First, you need to program the transponder, so that the engine is not immobilized. Second, you need to program the keyless entry buttons. Both can be found on this site with a little searching.
