Another shot, notice the purple color has kept its consistency, but not surprising for the amount of time.

Now here comes the fun.
My Uncle Antonio takes the bottle of gear oil and uses and old bottle from Royal Purple to fill it up with.

My cousin Carlos is now attaching the hose to the filler hole while my Uncle Antonio looks on.

Now we hold the bottle up high and squeeze. Eventually toward the end of the bottle, rear differential hold .9L, but the bottle is .946 liters unofficially since they poured it out of a drum, you have to blow air into the tube to push the last remainder of fluid.

Thanks for the great how too's!
Most of the jobs I have done now have been written up with tons of pics. Makes it a much easier job, almost like you have done it before.
I used the harbor freight suction gun too. I think I will open it up to load it next time though. I was getting a lot of air in it since the gear oil is so thick. I ended up "using" a little more than a quart to do the transfer case since like any other job, I had to leave a decent puddle on the ground.

If one of you is going to be near Bradenton, Florida, just south of Tampa, and has an AWD and is looking to do this, let me know as I might help you out in about a month or so, as I plan to leave Mexico early April.

This pic is to test if the resizing works. If it goes through this pic shows the RX on front ramps, driveway pitches down toward street so about half way up on ramps makes truck level and helps with some extra room under there. Of course my King had to get in the pic.

Left jar is front gear oil followed by rear gear oil in center jar and comparing it to standard gl5 new oil on right. I wonder if that oil has ever been changed in the 83k that the original owner owned it. It's pretty dark. Both Front and Rear fill and drain plugs were a b---h to come off. the drain on front I used a stubby 15/16 with a thin wall 12 point, banged wrench with a rock a few times and it came loose
BTW, what's in the jars is not all the oil that came out. I just wanted to get most in there to see how nice and clean it came out, ewwww. Bought cheap tomato sauce at Walmart so that I could use the jars, they were $1 each and sauce actually smelled pretty good, almost like ragu.
