system questions in my 99' rx300
Couple of questions here. A) does the original head unit have an auxilary input? and B) Has anyone had any experience with the Jl audio 10w7 woofers in their RX? I was thinkin about pushin 500 watts to it in a closed box and was wondering how much dynamat ide have to use to reduce the rattling because even with the nakamichi system(i allready managed to blow the original sub) theres a rattling in the doors etc and i was thinkin what ide have to funnel into the car to make it sound as nice as possible without the rattling. Any input is appreciated.

A) there isn't any aux input in the factory head unit 
B) i don't have the 10W7s, mine are the sheisty 10W0s i think but i only had to buy one package of dynamat. a little of that stuff goes a long way. i had the 4 doors matted and the rear liftgate. what i found rattled the most was my rear license plate so i matted that too. good luck and post pics when you're done

Damn it to hell i needed that aux .......... oh well what can u do but ya ive heard rattle outside of my car from the stock 5" ported sub so i know that the 10w7 will cause a lot of problems.... I wanted a decent hitting system that isnt gonna make me go deaf cause the 10w7 in a ported box with 700 watts to it was LOUD... matter of fact it broke my boys rear windshield wiper motor about 4 times. lol anyways will do i just wanted to get some stuff straight before i stuck it in teh shop to get the work done.
