I have the same problem on my GS300 2001.
It looks like you have a lot of responses since 2006.
Did you fix the problem?

Please search "air servo".

The buzzing sound which comes for a while and quits is typical or the servo motor trying to overcome the dampers and then quit.

There are more than one servo and typically the mode servo dies first as it is used more. You can most likely reproduce it by changing the "mode" setting [feet level, face level etc]

Sorry!

Changing mode should sensatize the"mode servo" ... it is not a cure.

Adjusting the temperature from one extreme to the other should sensatize the "mix servo".

The cure is to replace the right servo. Servicing the servo may help it limp along [Read the instructions carefully as you should reassemble it the arm at the same angle when you start].
