Question

Not to be a killjoy, but does the Weapon R intake have or need CARB certification, or will I need to swap it out every other year for smog checks?
Thanks

hey, I am going to order the stage 3 kit, but I am going to need instructions on how to install it. I don't need any unnecessary problems...

Default Questions for Y2KGS and info for others...

So how much gains for the RX and where are the dyno charts??

Also you say the intake is CARB certified for the RX?? if so what is the cert number?? if I remember correctly CARB certs can take anywhere from 6 months to a year and you need a different certification for each and every model intake you make, also you need an engineer from CARB to work with your engineers and take measurements as well as not to mention the $5,000-$10,000 cost PER certification.

For all:
We will be releasing our SRT HFI intake w/ECU for the RX in the next 2-3 weeks (approximate current gains is 20HP and 25 Tq) and following the HFI we will realease the Stage 1 and Stage 2 supercharger kits for the RX.
Remenber SRT bought an RX300 for the sole purpose of R&D for YOU RX owners. There are many many new and innovative products in the way, especially with our new 6,250 sq.ft facility and other cool equipment (TBA) on the way.

Swift Racing, I went to your web-page and called that number so see about the intake. And some lady that could not speak english answered the phone and some baby screaming in the backgound. Then I asked for you and she hung up in my face... Is this a official business or a sweatshop... Nice..

Sypher,

As of late, both Mo & myself have been working out of the machine shop facility. B/c of this when you call the (301) # the call has to be transferred to where we are.

Most likely the call dropped in the attempt to transfer the call. Please don't assume someone was trying to intentionally trying to hang up the phone on you. If that was a common practice, we wouldn't be where we are. So, I'll excuse the ending comments & not dive into that.

BTW, Y2kgs, you have never posted what you're affiliation is with Weapon R. Looking @ the history of posts you have made, it is evident that there is "something" in your favor. Do I dare ask?
