Question

Hey Everyone,

I was just interested in what type of tires or rims you would recommend. I am looking at the rims on www.neeper.com (If that link doesn't work just type it in the address bar) I really like the Sideburns (no pic yet but I have seen them in Super Street Mag) What would be a good tire that would fit on these rims, I am looking for a larger diameter tire, and our RX's use Is mainly driving around the city, my mom for work and for errands and driving me and my friends places. My mom has to go over some speed bumps at work and she has a steep downward path at her building (she has to go down from level 5). Thanks any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

For the 18 inch, the best tire size would be 255/55-18 or if u want the car to be a bit lower 50-18.

255/55 18 seem to be the way to go. There was another thread that talked about this but I can't find it. It talked about this size being about 1/2 in higher than stock and that would actually bring the odometer to a correct reading, as it reads 3mph low with the stock tire. They also said that you make sure that you get a combination that does not use wheel spacers to clear the struts.

Really? So when the car says we are going 55MPH we are going 52MPH? That's weird and they sell the car like this? So what about if the Odometer (?) says we have totally gone 5,000 Miles is that wrong too?

Anyone Else,
What Brand Would You Recommend?

looks like that link is gone, sorry. It would tell you in inches the height of a tire, so you could see it the tire you wanted to get like a 255/55 18 would be 1/2 inch taller than your stock 225/70 16. The other thing that I have found is that a given brand of tire may be taller or shorter than another brand in the same size.

Look at this link and it gives you the overall tire size. This one works. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...ss+Terrain+SUV
