99 Awd

I'm in the market for a RX. I currently have an '97 ES300 and am simply ready for another car. I realize they share many similarities, however does anybody have any words of warning specific to this model year?
This will be my 3rd Lex over the past several years. I'm a fan and would like to remain a Lexus owner.
The car I'm interested in buying is at a local Toyota dealership.
99 AWD 60K miles, tow/heated seats, 6-disc CD, all options but Navi. $28K Green w/gold package.
My previous 2 Lex's were both certified...this would be my first without a warranty unless I buy through the Toyota dealership or aftermarket of some type.
Any thoughts?
Cheers and thanks in advance

Sounds good. 99 was the first year so it is prone to most of the bugs in early models, but the previous owner may have had those worked out with the dealer or the RX may not have any. As always, just take your time and find exactly what you want - there will be many, many RX's out there - check out http://www.autotrader.com for pricing info or to find another one in your area.

koder2073, that sounds a little high for a 99 RX........plus miles are a bit high also when you consider that the RX was introduced 6/98.
LexRX is giving excellent advice re taking time. Would also check Edmunds (edmunds.com), Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) and NADA book (nada.com) for approx values. They'll differ by a range of 2-3k, but will put you in the ballpark. BTW, if I recall Lexus Certified requirements, 99 RXs should be available. Granted, your dealer has a used one that he wants sell, but he should also be willing to get on his computer and check availability of Lexus CPO vehicles for you.
Good luck!!! I bought a 99 AWD for my wife in September of that year; she still loves it!!! Esp since I Zaino'd it for her!!!
