My wife has a '99 RX300. After about 2 year , the drivers sun visor would not remain in the desired position. It would just hang in a verticle position. It was replaced under waranty.Now at the 6th year anniversary, the passenger side is doing the same thing. I don't see any adjustment. Anyone with ideas?

Since one was replaced do you see any difference in the new one from the original that might help determine how they function or can be adjusted? I've always wondered about thatl Does the repaired one function firmly. The two-year-old ones on my '03 still have a firm snap to the up position, maybe, hopefully, Lexus fixed the problem, these things need to work for many years and use cycles.

On my '99 the retention bracket was coming loose, so far the '03s are tight.
