Who tows with their RX?

Hello everyone. I am considering a RX300 and just found this board today. I am curious if anyone has experience towing with their RX. I have a 17' fiberglass boat, probably about 2000 lbs total that I will be towing. Does the RX handle the load well - does the rear end sag, can it keep speed up hills?
Thanks, Dale

There is tongue weight restriction and then there is towing weight restriction. Check the user manual.

I put 30 80lb bags of gravel in the back once on a short trip from Home Depot once. Talk about a low rider...
I also have been towing about 1000-2000 lbs of building materials on a 60 mile drive for our weekend retreat on curving roads. The back sways a bit excessive (IMHO) compared to a truck as you would expect. It does sag like a boat a much since the weight of the tow is balance on the axle, compared to typical boats trailers.
But going up the hills (10% grade a mile on average at times) its got the power (wish it had a turbocharger) so that no one will laugh with you on your lack of power.
