While there appears to be plenty of room under the
hood, the TRD supercharger kit cannot fit in there.
(the one designed for Solara/Camry V6 engines)
The RX300's engine is too far back for the supercharger
kit to fit. I'm sure there's a market for a RX300-
specific supercharger kit, but I haven't seen one
anywhere.(not even on Japanese Harrier owner
websites...) What gives?
I could surely benefit from an extra second(or two)
off the 0-60mph time... Just wait, my bet
is that Lexus will drop the 430 V8 engine into the
next generation RX300/Harrier...

I hope they do, but I bet on them keeping RX300 as RX300 and adding one more SUV into the mix, maybe in 2003/2004 timeframe, below the LX470.
Right now, Lexus's biggest competitor is the MDX, Toyota does have a 3.4L engine in the fleet as well.
I also exepct Lexus to start production of the RX300 from Canada by then too...
