How's the MPG on your RX300?
I only get 18mpg(mixed city/hwy) and 20.5mpg
on highway-only driving(60mph-75mph)...
This is with no passenger/cargo on my '01 RX300.
I have only used premium fuel(93 or better) on it.
However, I'm wondering if I should swich to
regular(87) or plus(89 or 91).... pros and cons?
(other than the obviouse $$$ saving)

17.2 mpg from wife's 99 AWD RX, mostly city miles........using premium.......knock sensor and engine ECU will allow lower octane than recommended without harm to motor, but mileage may be off a tad and won't have full power available. Most of the time we don't drive with foot to floor so likely won't notice any performance falloff.

MPG
I'm getting 18.2 mpg mix City/Hwy on 2001 FWD using the regular (87). Strangely, I'm getting lower mpg (17.5mpg) using premium (92) ? I tried the Premium twice with same result, so now I just stick to the regular.
Didn't really notice too much performance difference.

There are so many factors involved in MPG.
Switch to instantaneous display and adjust your driving habits. Don't forget to watch the road though.

Before I finally knew that the Average MPG was resettable, I was getting a meager 16.something miles per gallon for a year and a half. Mostly city driving, with plenty of gas wasted on idling around waiting for parking spaces to open up.
More interesing is this: How long, on average, do you spend sitting in your RX every day? For the past three years, I've been averaging about three to four hours each weekday. It got so depressing that I would never leave the trip info on E/T (elapsed time).
