I'm planning to install a remote car starter on my 99 RX300. I would like to know what system installed on their RX300 and other comments.

RayN: Just bought ScyTek Galaxy 5000 mobile + Expresskit PKALL and am in the initial phase.
Haven't been able to find complete wiring diagram for the RX300 (2002).
The service manual shows details of the electric system but not the complete stuff.
I guess I'm more company than help to this thread, but we might be able to share thoughts, worries and experiences. You don't happen to have access to full wiring diagram?

I have compustar 1way. Reason I choose compustar is because they use FM signals which go farther distance.

I have now come to the conclusion that I don't need to bother with 80% of the wiring, since I don't need the alarm stuff.
Remaining question is if there are any musts or mustn'ts when you do a partial installation as such. Trying to get an answer from the vendor, but they just recommendletting a certified installer do the job and that's hard to find in Stockholm ,Sweden.

One has to disable the imobilizer or keep the sending unit next to the ignition keyhole.
