New '16 350, Not exactly "Happy" Need advice.
Greetings! Just bought a 2016 RX350
She is Nebula Gray Pearl
Luxury Package
Mark Levinson Premium Audio
Panorama Moonroof
Sticker: $56,863
Paid: $49,273.7 (Including Tax/Title/Whatever)
Financed (After Trade-In/Downpayment): $38,079.82
My initial thoughts on this vehicle were: "Wow, she's beautiful, fancy, perfect!!"
After 5,000 miles in this vehicle..
She handles like a BRICK. She's very very noisy. Mark Levinson makes the entire car rattle. It does not sound like a Luxury car at all.
Engine pings at idle.
"Sport" mode is more like Whiplash mode, dumbest throttle response ever.
Whatever tires these are that come on it have 0 grip.
Are my wheels seriously plastic???
So I've looked into having a local MobileAudio store line all 5 doors and behind the Subwoofer with Hushmat to reduce some noise.
Making the appointment soon, this is a Must for me.
I would like to find information on a better Intake / Exhaust to further help mask some of the unpleasant noises.
I would like to find information on a lowering kit and non-plastic wheels with a wider offset to bring the wheels out flush with the fender where they belong, and improve handling.
I think with some very simple fixes I will love this vehicle Forever <333
If you guys could help me get started on where / what I'm looking for to achieve what this vehicle should have been from the factory it would be GREATLY appreciated

I'm completely new to all of this, I've always just owned a car for transport, not owned one because I loved it and wanted to upgrade it.

A TSB is a Technicial Service Bullitin from Lexus. It should address the issue of excessive engine noise.
I believe the fix is to install an exhaust damper to absorb and quiet the drone.
Many people have been complaining about this. I will update when the TSB is released.

Members have added a K&N and removed the muffler, but in my opinion that just creates rasp.
There's a thread already about using a couple of exhaust dampers link HERE

RSR and a few JDM companies have springs/coilovers available, but be prepared to pay a premium and wait a couple of months
Wheels are allow but may have the color matched plastic inserts
"Flush" you can use 25mm spacers all around to give it that look, one of our vendors B2 something will have what you need. Will give you the look, but can't say that it would improve your handling

Pole Position
Do not see how an oil change would make that big of a difference unless the factory put 40 weight oil in it and that would not happen. Maybe a miscalculation?
