Dynamic radar cruise control with full-speed range - Canada
Can anyone in Canada confirm that DRCC with full-speed range is equipped on RX in Canada? I know I have the DRCC but I don't believe it will bring the speed to a complete stop. wasn't capable of these and there are limited situations to test this feature in my area.

What year is your rx? 2016 no, 2017 should have full speed radar cruise control with lane keep assist.

It appears DRCC functionality in Canada is the same in '17 as it was. So no all-speed and still only works above 40 kph.

The question I have is does your brake lights go on when the DRCC slows down and if so does that happen in all degrees or just when the DRCC vehicle has to abruptly change speed?

I am curious if anyone in Canada that had a 17 RX can say if the cruise is now full speed.

See at 1m 35s in video:
Yes, all 2017 RX models comes standard with LSS+ (Pre-Collision, LDA, DRCC, and Auto-High Beam).

If just coasting no. Abrupt decrease in speed, yes, just like you were to manually hit the brakes so that driver's behind you can safely react accordingly.

That document is the latest published version and speaks to the 2017 LSS+ for Canada. Unfortunately, no all-speed control mentioned anywhere for Canada in 2017 including on lexus.ca.

I drive a 2017 RX350 F-Sport 3 , bought in Canada.
The car has Full Speed DRCC, and will come to a full stop if the car in front of you stops. however, if the car in front of you starts moving again, you'll be asked to push the lever to keep following. This is a fully useable feature in traffic jam.
You can also set the cruise at very low speed, the car will then default to 50km/h if I remember correctly.

Surprised since nowhere Lexus mentions it in their literature. It's something of value they should advertise like the competition does. Thanks for confirming.

The snow finally melted around here enough that I could try this in the city. I can confirm that full-speed DRCC does not work below 42 km/hr on the 2016 model in Canada. Really a bummer. I also can't believe there isn't a louder or stronger notification that the cruise has shut off. It just gives 2 beeps and stops intervening. If anyone relied on this for low speed traffic, you would surely hit the vehicle in front of you.

In 2016 this was not available in Canada. The 2017s have them.
I think the emergency stopping will kick in on the 2016 if you missed the fact that it stopped functioning below 42 km/h.
Pretty stupid. But that's what LEXUS Canada thought Canadians deserve.

Tried it yesterday on our way home from picking up our new RX from the dealer and works great. It will come to a stop as others above have mentioned stating "Waiting", then re-engage the cruise control stalk to accelerate (though somewhat leisurely).
