I was offered a 2017 350 Executive for 20% off MSRP. The dealer had taken ownership at April 1st, so the warranty had started ticking. Downside was that you couldn't get the Lexus financing rate and would have to go to the bank which works out to almost almost $4k in additional interest over 60 months.

In the US Lexus shows a 2.9% 60 mo financing "deal" on the RX. Most credit unions beat that rate.

As far as I know, in Canada, 4.9% would be the best you can do. My bank would just try to sell me a secured line of credit instead.

Better than me. I had to accept their offer 3.99%. Wonder how long I have to wait before I refinance my loan? Can I do it now?

You can refinance immediately, if you owe less than the value of the car.
Be careful about the early termination penalties.

Don't use their rate estimation tool unless you are serious. They require all your private info including income and SSN.

There are a couple 2017 RXs in my area that I'd consider over a 2018. Does anyone know if there are any rebates being offered on the 2017s? I read of a $6K incentive in April.

How much off MSRP should I be asking for? Currently listed at $56K.

Thanks

what was the price before tax and registration and any dealer fees? I assume this is brand new. Did you try to get a lease quote?

I think it was 39 change. I negotiated otd price so did not pay much attention to the price components. it was brand new with 70 miles on odo.

I waa was looking to buy only. Did not consider lease.

Got mine over the weekends.
'17 F-Sport, everything except HUD, Panorama moon roof, Panoramic view.
30 mi on the odo.

Sticker price was ~$60K and got it out with $51K OTD price.

Does anyone know if this vehicle is free(or fixed) of known issues? hesitation, droning and etc.
(Vehicle was delivered to the dealer late December of 17)
Or should I visit dealer to check if all TSB have performed on this vehicle?

Sound like a very good deal. The 2017 is last year model, they are clearing the inventory, that is why they are so motivate to sell.
The 2018 RX350L or RX450L is already here.
When I got my on May 2017, I track the car left the assembly line in Canada Mar and reach the dealer Apr.
I used carfax to trace the VIN, paid $18 for it. But probably you can as the dealer to do the same for free.
