Question regarding buying out of state car? Nguyen215, you live in PA, you bought the car from MD. How much tax more do you pay when go to your state?
Is it cost extra to change the plate?
thanks

Thanks Nguyen, does the discount include any incentive from Lexus or is it all from the dealer?

My goal was to get 10-12 %off from the msrp. I didn't really know what other incentives would reflect on my final pricing. As for registration, the dealer register the car to whatever state you reside in and pay the tax base on the region you live in.

I want to thank binoymg and Vinny87 for referring me to Lexus of Silver Spring

Here is my breakdown to help others,
I ended up picking up a 2017 near base model in the color I really wanted for $41,300
MSRP $46,5xx
$5200 OFF MSRP (I think they give less % Off with base models)
Doc fee $300
7% tax
tag, title, govt fee? $591

$44,209 OTD

How did you get the $1500 in loyalty? Lexus didn't advertise it anywhere

I gave them an ultimatum and threatened to order from an out of state dealer and they "found" the rebate. It definitely wasn't advertised.

Default RX F sport pano roof

Need your assistance. Looking for atomic silver with pano roof F sport AWD with black interior. Is it worth getting pano roof?
I live in Westchester county NY. Couldn't find it here. I know I would not be able to get a good deal in NY if I find one. Is there a draw back getting an RX far away from your state area. Just wondering what if something goes wrong with the vehicle and might bring it back where you bought it and car loaner.
