exterior welcome lights don't light up anymore

Foot lights stopped working
I have a 2020 RX.
Typically, when I walk up to the vehicle with the fob in hand or in my pocket, the door handles illuminate. Can’t see them illuminate in the daylight, but definitely can when it is dark.
All of a sudden today, after I charged the battery with a Battery Tender (TM) as I have done many times previously as the vehicle is not seeing regular activity these days, I noticed that the door handle lights (called foot lights, I think) are not illuminating at all.
On another similar post someone suggested checking the fuse for these lights, which I have not done yet, but I cannot see how charging the battery would affect these door handle lights.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as I do not want to bring the vehicle in for service unless absolutely necessary.
For example, I just did the first oil change on this vehicle myself which Lexus will do for free,
Thanks all.

I would suspect there is no relationship between charging your battery and the malfunction of the courtesy lights. If it's not a fuse, then I think you'll have to let a dealer diagnose it -- maybe take it in at 15K when the wheels need rotated anyway.. Happily it's not an urgent situation.
