Just got mine yesterday and already missing my little tray inside center console box
I bought a couple of tactical pouches but they all do not fit. I tried to measure the box but have not been able to find a suitable pouch to organize my junk in there (lip balm, flashlight, utility tool, hand sanitizer, charging cables, extension cables etc.)

I kept the little tray from my 2012 RX (actually it could have been from my 2008, as I kept the whole console box and it fit in the 2012) and it fits (a little tight). I use it all the time - maybe you can get one through parts...
I just use the palm rest box for now as my phone won't fit there. About as much room as the missing small tray you mentioned that's included with the 3RX storage bin. On the plus side, all of my manuals lie flat underneath the large bin insert for the 4RX console box. Would still like to find a small tray solution though, as might go back to the new smaller iPhone for the palm rest box.

I kept mine too. It fits but won't slide like it did in my previous model.
Better than not having it though.
A cellphone won't fit unless its really small, but it's a good place to keep cards, receipts, gum, etc. I bought a Qi charger to put where the charger was SUPPOSED TO BE and leave my phone on it when I'm driving.

An iphone 5 is a perfect fit but really not much else.
Well I learn something every time I visit here. I guess not reading the manual has it's drawbacks. It is a small,space and my iPhone 6S+ would not fit but have other things that will.

It would be awesome to put my 6s in there and charge it while driving but I suppose Apple got ahead of Lexus in the planning department.
