The rails won't prevent your seats from creasing. I have rails installed since delivery and my driver seats is plenty creased. Only had the car 6mos. I think the narrow deeper bolster seats in the F Sport are to blame here. No way around preventing creases... just make sure you condition your leather regularly to prevent cracking.

One thing to think about is that the side rails will prevent mud and snow from building up in the door jams. Now, you're pants may be dirty, but it does keep the doors clean.
You may not think this is a big deal, but its an issue on the NX forums: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...ml#post8936780
The side rails do look quite nice though since they don't protrude too far outwards. Not sure I'd pay $1000 for them though...

It's an issue for the RX. It's caked with like dirt and crap after it rained. So annoying. There's a DIY fix but it doensn't rain as much in so-cal for me to do this

I ordered the OEM running board and the rivnut tool as well. Any heartburn installing it DIY? Planning to install it myself next week. I will install the OEM splash guard first.

Have a friend help. Boards are long so having a second set of hands to hold it up make life easier. If not. Have some things handy to prop it up and what not if doing it on the floor.
