Somewhere I read that there is a way to remotely start the car with the key fob if you have Lexus Enform (but don't want to futz with the app and just want a quick start). I tried unlocking with the key fob twice then hold, three times then hold and four times then hold (holding always on the last press). Nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try it with the APP first to ensure it works?

Do you have an active subscription?

You are correct in that you press lock once, twice, then hold the 3rd time.

Go into the small menu (three lines) icon at the upper right side of the app screen.
Find Manage Notifications and open Door Lock/Unlock, turn off Push
This will cut down on the spurious e-mails in the night telling you the car
is unlocked...in your garage!

We have a current Enform subscription. The remote door lock and unlock
works great with the app. but cannot get it to work using the 1, 2, hold
technique. Should this work for all subscribers or just some. Could use
some help in making ours work as described.

Make sure you are using the remote LOCK button not the UNLOCK button when trying to remote start with the key fob. That seems to be a frequent error noted here.

If that doesn't work, I would give the tech specialist at your dealer a call.

Yes that was my error...then I realized that there could be huge liability for Lexus if you remote started your car with an unlock and someone got in the vehicle.

On the third press of the lock button, you need to hold it down for a few seconds until the vehicle starts

Default Remote Start

Tried your suggestions, 2 times door lock and hold the third time, no
luck. Called the tech guy and he said he never heard of this working
for the 2016 only 2015 and down. When I tried the lights flashed and mirrors folded in but nothing when I held the third button push for 15 seconds.

Did you register for Enform, download the app to your smartphone and set it up? That's required even just to be able to remotely start with the key fob.

It works for me.

2016 RX 350 f-sport. I am registered with Enform, and have used the APP to remote start the car etc.... I made sure all that worked before trying the key fob button sequence. Works as its been mentioned in this thread.

Just to clear up any confusion, using the fob rather than the phone app remote control on our 2016's is:

Press Lock 3 times quickly and then hold down the 4th Lock until it starts.

The confusion for me was my previous 3rd generation fob remote control was press Lock button 2 times quickly and hold the 3rd.

I prefer the phone app by far, but nice to have the fob for back up although the fob only works within 90 feet or so. Not sure if you need the app for the fob style way to work, as I tried before installing the app at the time, but was trying the old 3 clicks way.

Default Lexus Enform on Lexus Drivers Website

I just purchased a 2016 RX 350 this past Saturday (4/2) and I am having trouble getting the Lexus Enform applications such as Enform Destinations to work on the Lexus Drivers website. I have already created an account on Lexus Drivers and I have also downloaded both the Enform Remote and Enform App Suite apps on my iPhone. Whenever I login to Lexus Drivers and click on the Lexus Enform tab and then under Overview, it says that I am subscribed to Lexus Enform, however, whenever I click Enform Destinations it gives this message "It appears you currently don't have a valid Lexus Enform subscription. Please call 1-800-25-LEXUS to speak with a Lexus Enform agent." I have already spoke to an agent earlier today by pressing the SOS button inside the vehicle and he told me I am already opted in and signed up for Enform so he transferred me to a customer service agent who also was not able to figure out the problem. I then was told to press the SOS button again to speak to another Enform agent who again could not figure out the issue and so he told me he made a ticket and will get back to me. On the My Lexus tab it does show my vehicle with the VIN # but if I try to click on either eDestination Folders or eDestination it gives the same error message. Was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what is causing the issue? Also the Enform Remote app just got paired with my vehicle today and it is working with no problems.
