Vinyl wrapping the roof ?anyone done this yet like the new Range Rover sport does ...Most of the roof is black already if you have the sunroof

I've been looking into this as well. I saw a photo of the RX with pano roof that has an all black top.

Can anyone with a pano roof confirm or take some photos?

On the panoramic roof car it's gloss black in the front and on the sides next to the sunroof. After the sunroof it's body color again (antenna panel and spoiler)

That seems like a common description for a lot of cars with similar style sunroofs or panoramic roofs. The Audi A3 and Mercedes CLA cars that I have come by to get stuff wrapped have the same issue. The majority of the roof is already black, except for the last rear like 1/3 of the roof or so. Kind of weird for the manufacturers to do this, but probably is due to it being cheaper for them overall somehow to just keep that part body colored.

When you say yours is already black ? Is the whole car black or did you wrap the roof ? We are talking about wrapping the roof to match all the black glass already up there

For me, it's that C-pillar or the rear area, that should be white but you made it black. I think because of that, it doesn't contrast well and looks like one giant roof. I'm going to make mine shiny gloss black but just the middle area from the antenna to the end of the pano roof. That way you have the black on top, the painted area on the sides, and the floating roofline.
