Getting used to it !!
Being that my community is packed with RX 350's it has to be an excellent car but nobody stepped out for the 2016 yet. At a super bowl party one of my neighbors replaced their 2013 350 RX with a new Murano. I checked it out and it is really not bad. I asked why the switch and they said Lexus was not dealing and they did not want to wait.
I happen to agree with them l will wait for a corporate lease deal or l will select another car.
It is a wonderful suv but way over priced for what it is. I could pick up 2 Santa Fe sports lol

If the only difference between an RX and a Santa Fe Sport to you is that, then by all means you should buy a Santa Fe. I don't see how someone could say the RX is overpriced when you look at it compared to its actual peers.
I'd rather have a Murano than a 2013 RX quite frankly, but not a 2016.

Your correct!
I have to agree with you that it is not a fair comparison. My first choice was the 2016 RX but l cannot get past the front grille.
The interior is amazing and being that l have time before l return my Avalon l will go to an Auto Show in March and check out all the mid suv's. Keep in mind this is my wife's car so she will look for all the safety gizmo's plus camera's.

Thats really not a valid comparison.

And for the most part Lexus dealers in my experience will negotiate with you. However, as with any brand, when a new model is introduced there is very little, if any negotiation for a while..

Lots of options out there, just go buy what you like. Like I've said, in this segment I would choose a BMW X5 as a stretch price, or a Jeep Grand Cherokee if I was trying to stay cheaper.

I think there are a lot of us that have enjoyed our past Lexus vehicles, and indeed, like most everything about the new one - except for the polarizing grill. It takes feedback from the customers (all of us) as well as sales numbers to help Lexus decide if they made the right design choice. Look at the bird beak grill design on the last generation of Acura products - it is now gone on most models and the new grills looks great. I would imagine that change is a result of customer feedback, focus groups, sales figures and numerous other metrics.
I find myself wanting to like the grill as well, but I definitely like the rest of the vehicle. I am not looking to purchase one right now so personally, I hope comments from me and others will get Lexus to reconsider their design choice by the time I am ready to purchase a replacement. Alternatively, perhaps I will come to like the grill after seeing more of them on the road. If I still don't like something about the RX when I am ready then I will go shopping for an alternative. Plenty of other brands, and other models within the Lexus lineup for that matter.
Finally, isn't this a forum? Shouldn't we share likes, dislikes, tips, discoveries and other ideas here. If someone else doesn't like the grill, I don't mind hearing about it because I want to know that I'm not the only one having a hard time with that particular new design choice. Am I wrong to think we need to exercise some tolerance on a discussion board and respect one-another's opinions?
