Thanks to the info in this thread I updated my backups and the interior cargo lighting to the LEDs off Amazon. Both were extremely easy to do and had no issues. The biggest difference I notice is with the cargo lighting upgrade. Huge difference in lighting, and I say this is a must do upgrade. The cost is minimal but the results are nice. As far as the backups, I only see a small amount of increase in brightness, although going to LEDs has a nice look effect. Maybe I should have went with brighter LEDs.

Parking lights LED upgrade
Was surprised to find out that even though most of external lights are LEDs, parking lights on 4RX were still standard bulbs! I mean… really?…
So I've upgraded them today with T16, 6500K, 900 lumen LEDs. A 3 minute work, and a huge difference!
The job is REALLY easy
- use a plastic card to remove two credit card-sized covers on the inner side of the back door
- turn the outer/upper light holders counter-clockwise to remove them
- replace bulbs
- re-insert and place covers back
Before:
Another before shot:
What the hell?… a 1 cent parking bulb in an all LED 4RX??:
After short:
Another after short:
That's what I used… Japan here, so availability in other countries might vary.:

Sorry for the dumb questions but are these just the reverse lights?
I replaced the reverse lights with the Phillips Amazon linked bulbs below and absolute difference, worth the $50

The phillips leds did fit, after installing new bulb the twist lock would only go in one way. It would not go in if the gray twist piece was out of alignment, it was not just a plug-n-play it took a little wiggling no force though. For me it doesnt really matter if they are incandescent or LED it was that the LED's are a bright white and brighter in general, (nice benefit that these will probably never burn out, not a big deal though) the wife liked them and she is the primary driver.
