That's meant to hold your old iphone 5 like it were 2012. However, being that is actually 2017; it makes a great compartment to store a pack of gum, chapstick and/or a small set of keys

There's a similar space on the 2016 Altima I rented. Nope, my iPhone 7 didn't fit!

I learned today that if there is a door open and you press lock on the remote the doors will lock but the car won't beep until you shut the door. In my last Rx if you tried to lock the doors while one was open it would make a noise and not lock the doors.

I believe it is a new feature on all toyota/lexus. I think you can turn it off in the main menu settings so that you know if a door is left slightly open when locking.

IF you have the carista app,

you can change the chime on your rear hatch to 3 different settings. Mine has a very pleasant musical sound to it. Completely different than the double beep etc.

could you make a screenshot of the settings in your carista app that allows to change chime sounds? I couldn't find anything on Carista's support web page.

IF you could upload a video with that new sound, that would be perfect!

i do have carista device, but since the company went with the extortion subscription route, I never touched it.

I guess I'm a bit behind here. What is the "Carista App"? I have a Lexus app on my phone, but have never used it. It's not called "Carista" that I'm aware of - is this a Canadian thing?
