2016 RX Best Prices So Far?
#961
Previously it was Warnock Lexus. They always added items on to the car for free. They matched competitors prices, too. Service was superb and on numerous occasions stood by their product. This is the first from Lexus of Rt 10, same location with a different owner. The buying experience was wonderful, fair price, good trade in, and they've gone out of their way to obtain the vehicle I wanted and help me afterwards.

Hi Folks,
I am from Canada and our market might be somewhat different from yours.
We just bought a 2016 RX for the wife. Bought the base model. I offered the dealer 5% above invoice price. As someone who has financed through Toyota, I was offered a 1.5 point discount on Toyota rates. Cannt complain about the deal. Didnt do a trade as we sold her outgoing SUV privately for more than what I owed Toyota Finance.

Im being quoted a out the door price of $44,200 to $44,400 by three dealerships for a base RX 350 with MSRP of 45,379 pretty much at invoice per fightingchance. One in CT, NJ and NY.
Can anyone comment on whether this is a good deal?

I`d say push harder since $45K stickers are pulling in the most incentives (12-14% off msrp).

Making a deal
First I want to thank everyone! This forum has been a wealth of information for me in my search for a new RX.
Currently drive a 2010 RX and it's still a wonderful car, just ready for a change.
I know there is a sticky thread on deals but I read on there 10% off msrp. The best offer I have gotten is 6. Is it still possible to get 10?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. My car is still in awesome shape and has zero problems. I can wait if need be, it's just the miles are adding up and I'm starting to get concerned about trade in if I wait too long.

Six months ago; I too had a 2010 RX450H fully loaded in pristine condition with less than 40K miles on it. The Lexus dealer(s) that I started prenegotiations with totally low balled my trade. One gave me $20K and the other $21K--only the beat the other dealer's lower trade offer. I got really discouraged and a bit offended on how both dealers had other RXs in their used lots in far worst conditions and more mileage than that of my car; and yet they were asking top dollar ranging from $27-$29K! So, I decided to sell the car on my own. Placed several ads and ended up selling it via Craigslist, cash for $26K. Meanwhile I had my car up for sale privately, I special ordered my new RX 450H F Sport and initially negotiated a selling price of $1K UNDER invoice. If you are not in a hurry or in need of a new car right away... having a bit of patience may yield you thousands of dollars over what the dealer will give for your trade. In my case, and additional $5K on my trade and little over 6% off the price of the new car
