I was able to negotiate 12.8% off MSRP which I thought was reasonable.

Do you mind to share the dealer info? I don't mind driving from Cali to Arizona at all. Thanks in advance!

I am not in hurry so I guess I'll take your advice. Thanks! In the mean time, I will keep looking.

Default Lexus of Watertown Ma

Just got my 2016 eminent white, noble brown, linear mocha trim AWD RX for almost 14% off the msrp.

Msrp was 48,646. Premium package, BSM and Cross Traffic Alert, No touch tailgate, ventilated seats, leather, sunroof, heated steering wheel, accessory package.

PM me for Dealer name and info. Nobody in MA would match my quote and I've been shopping for 3 months now.

Default New RX

2016 RX 350 AWD

Eminent White Exterior Black Interior w/ Espresso Walnut
-Premium Package
-12.3" NAV Mark Levinson Audio
-Panoramic View Monitor w/ BSM
-Color HUD
-Heated and Ventilated Seats
-Heated Espresso Walnut Steering Wheel
-Intuitive Parking Assist
-Lexus Safety System +
-Panorama Moonroof
-Touch Free Rear Door
-Towing Prep Package
-Running Boards
-20" Wheels
-Cargo Mat
-Cargo Net

$57,203 MSRP and got $56k out the door (located in SoCal). Probably not the absolute bottom dollar, but good enough especially with the color combo. Would've liked the LED headlights, but with this setup it's a custom order. Next step, weathertech!

$1000 cash back until 9/6 on RX gas and hybrids. They are trying to clear out all of the 2016 line. Cars.com shows over 10,000 left on the lots. I am not sure how accurate that is but the rebates tells you something. Of course the 1000 rebate will not be close to covering the model year loss in a few years if you trade every few years.

The can sell that many in a month or two. Also, $1000 cash back isn't that much. They're offering $3000 cash back on the models they're really trying to clear out and discounting more on them. You might get a bigger discount at the end of the month or at the end of the promotion around Labor Day. After that, if they really have too many 2016 units before the 2017 arrive, you might see a bigger rebate between Labor Day and Christmas.

If their truly 10k units on the ground, thats not an issue. As the herd thins out, the deals are going to be had, just selection will be **** poor. I`d say the minute the 17s come on the lot, the rush to clear will begin. Usually by the end of december the RX model lines are clear of old inventory, besides a few oddballs and a bunch of dealer demos and loaners.
