The numbers they are giving in the upper 7 second range for the 4RX are similar to the numbers they publish for the 3RX. Yet Car and Driver tested two RX350s and got 6.8 (2010 RX350) and 7.1 (2013 F Sport) seconds. I've seen lots of other similar test results in other publications. I think it'll be quicker than 7.7 to 7.9.

Why are folks worried about 0-60 time in a soccer mom vehicle? Serious question.
(and yes it's a soccer mom vehicle, regardless what you think)

And to the "soccer mom" reference, hey, if I'm going to drive a "soccer mom" car, I at least want to have some decent acceleration to be the fastest one out of the school parking lot!

Aw I thought for sure complete pricing would be out by now. :-( My dealer keeps calling me to see if I'm ready to order but it's Lexus that is not ready as I want a custom build. I punted since I can't wait and went with another make.
I'll be exited to see the new RX models on the roads hopefully soon but I guess in retrospect I'm not totally on board with how the new Lexus front grill looks on bigger models plus Toyota models starting to look similar.
Thanks for a nice forum!

Good price, Thompson Lexus has White Loaded RX 350 white F sports, blind spot monitoring, 51,630. Sun roof and premium package is listed there too but I am not sure if that is even accurate. We can only take all of this with a grain of salt as some listings have the car listed as 5 speed or 4.6L. Edited my post, I think that all of this is still fake until Lexus officially announces the pricing. Some list them as 4.6L or 5 gears instead of 8. Can't take that info seriously until Lexus officially announces pricing and pricing of packages in general.

when you're merging onto highways that have ridiculously short merge lanes because they were designed and constructed 60 years ago when the max speed was like 30mph, a 0-60 that slow is borderline unsafe.

I thought this thread was about 16 RX pricing. I wouldn't even open up if I thought it was going to be flavored with goofy remarks made for the purpose of baiting people for a reaction.

Just curious about something:
The factory product spec sheet says that the Luxury package includes Grey Sapele wood with aluminum trim. Yet it also says that the Luxury package includes the Premium package, and the Premium package offers trim choices of Espresso Walnut, Matte Bamboo or Matte Linear Dark Mocha wood.
Huh.....?
Also, the 4RX overall length is 192.5 inches and doesn't have third row seating, and my 2014 Highlander's overall length is 191 inches with third row seating. They also have the same front and rear legroom (44in / 38in). Interesting that they seemingly left out the 3rd row seating option. Any thoughts.....?

The distribution of the length may also make a difference. The front end seems long, and if that's true the seating starts farther back, leaving less room for a third row.
