First I notice the muffler tailpipe ends under the vehicle. I thought it suppose to exit from under the vehicle to cut down on carbon monoxide entering the vehicle. Second I notice the rubber exhaust hangar is in a vertical position. Third I notice a kink in the pipe. I don't know if all of this is normal. I did notice another rx350 on the road and the tailpipe was under the vehicle too.

Your last picture looks like the pipe is kinked. What year is your RX? I have a '14 and can take a picture of my car in that area.

Mine is a 2010. If that is not a normal bend that mean it could increase the back pressure.

I took a picture of my 2013. It looks the same. This is where it passes under the suspension. Manufacturers do weird things like this. Another car I own has a V8. the X-pipe was really narrowed. It has been replaced with an aftermarket X-pipe.

In short.... your OK.

I felt at ease for a second until I look at your pic. Just by looking at the two pic side by side you can see that mine is kinked. I cant find any salvage yard that have the muffler. The dealer is over $600 and ebay dont have it either. Thanks for the pic.

You could try going to a muffler shop and see if they could bend it back .We have done repairs like that in our shop .
It might not be come out perfect but maybe good enough .

Forget bending it back because that won't happen. Once the kink is established in tubing, it's there to stay. The only potential would be for someone to use a hammer with LOTS of patience and care to re-round the kink, but I don;t think any shop would even consider taking that approach, as they will prefer a cut-n-paste approach. You can get a new bend at the muffler shop where they have the tube bending tools to make what you need, and they can cut out the kinked bend and weld the new bend back in place. SURELY that will be much less than $600, and if I had to venture a purely speculative guess, I would say it might be somewhere around $200.

Even if kinked or bent and have no leaks I would say leave it. Why do you need perfect round tubing? Might want to find out why it's kinked, possible accident? We in CA would be more concerned about the amount of rust you have in the undercarriage, but must be normal in heavy snow area,
