Can I stick a little convex mirror on the side mirrors?
I've never had tiny attached convex mirrors but would like to give them a try on my 2010 RX450h. The question is whether they would screw anything up because of the defrost and dimming features, or whether the adhesive would even stick when heated.

I have one on the driver's side. Don't use the smallest which i initially did and replaced with a 2" recently. Depending on how you are seated, you may not need one on the passenger side.
There are threads here and other forums about the best location on the mirror. I used to have it on the top-outside part but my eyes were straying too far out. I prefer the current position of top-inside, shorter movement of the eyes which keeps the periphery vision in front when you use the convex mirror. But YMMV so try it out.

I use them on both sides on all my vehicles. I prefer the upper outside corner, but it is individual preference. They are inexpensive and available at any chain auto parts store. I too recommend 2 inch mirrors. Do not get the adjustable ones as they do not stay in position.

I have the little round side convex mirrors on all of my vehicles.
Just make sure you don't cover up the BMS indicators, if you have the BMS option.
Also clean the mirror with alcohol and let it dry prior to applying.
I have on one car the round mirrors that can rotate. It is all good until someone mess with it and turned it and now you don't see what you had the preset prior. So get the fix mirrors with no adjustment.
i find it useful when parking so I can see my rear tires not rubbing curb.

And a trick I learned from this forum is to use dental floss to remove the convex mirror if you don't like where you initially place them. Then I used goof-off to remove the glue residue.

So it's true what they say--flossing is good for you AND for your car.
I made the decision to invest in a couple of 2" mirrors. Mounted on inside bottom. The left-hand one seems very useful as it covers an obvious blind spot. The right-hand one less so, but we'll see if it helps. Over the past year I've had two instances of not seeing a car or was merging while someone was also changing lanes, so if I can prevent those near-misses that's a good thing.

I've use these on every car we've owned for many years. When we go on vacation I even buy a pair for the rental car.

I used those (pic). They are really slim without black plastic cover.
Just look for 'Cardeco Puzzle Car Slim Circle Blind Spot Side Mirror' on eBay. Got them in 10 days from Korea to USA.
