Default RX350 that was moved from USA to Saudi Arabia

Hello,

I shipped my car from Miami to Saudi Arabia. I currently live in Saudi.
My Lexus RX350 (2014) does not allow me to choose radio stations that end with even numbers! for example: 102.2 or 103.4
In addition to that, navigation is not working at all !

How can I update my navigation?

Any advises or solutions ?

Thank you.

You need to have the dealer do it if the navigation can be changed to work in a different continent. Even in the US, if you want to update your navigation, it must be done by the dealer who has the special software and other equipment to make the update. In short, you cannot do it yourself.

I do not know about the radio, but suggest that should also be put to the dealer to see if they have an answer. A Toyota dealer will do if there are no Lexus dealers. However, I suspect there are Lexus dealers in Saudi. I had a friend from Bahrain who said they had Lexus there, so I deduce that Saudi must also have them.

You've got yourself a "Grey Market" Lexus. Toyota makes it very difficult, downright impossible (for a reason), to alter any of the settings you need. Some serious hacking will be needed. You will need to find a professional specializing in grey market imports.

What is the reason? So they can charge the Lexus owner for it?

So that vehicles would not be re-imported into different markets. Pricing and options strategies are very different.
It also protects us from "orders" filled overseas when vehicles are stolen and moved to another country.

There is no charging for adaptation of a grey-market vehicle. There's no such option.

On the 2014 RX you have to take it in to the dealer get the maps updated/changed for the region you are in. I have no idea of why the radio is doing what it is but you can get that checked out while at the dealer.

On the up side, there are 3 Lexus dealers in Jeddah.

Just wondering, was your move because you got stationed to NB King Fahd?

He has a USDM Lexus, that's why the Nav and Radio do not work.
His Nav unit has North America configured into it. It has no idea where Middle East is.
US FM radio frequency is between 87.9 through 107.9, all ending with 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9
He will not be able to tune to a station ending in 0.2 or 0.4

Same goes for MPH and MPG unit conversions.

I doubt his Lexus is eligible for warranty too.
