passenger door lock not working rx450h
Hi,
On the wifes lexus rx450H 2010, the passenger door is not locking or unlocking, only manually doing it works. Is there a fuse or am I looking at taking the door apart and replacing something?
Thanks

Good chance its the lock actuator and on this car its built into the latch assembly . retails for 320.00 . It might be repairable but not likely . Maybe look for a used one . no fuse for just one lock .

I found the motor for 10 bucks, it just looks like quite a job getting everything out. Is there a way to tell. it was working fine, I can't imagine it just died all of a sudden. Should I be able to hear some noise or something?

It is a common problem across the board for Toyota vehicles. New motor is less than $10, which is way cheaper than replacing the whole assembly.
There are some DIY youtube videos for Highlander. I'm sure there's plenty for other models as well.
