Default New to The RX Family... One question.

I just purchased a 2011 AWD RX 450h. I traded in my 07 GS450h...

It is Matador Red Mica with the parchment interior. It has the LED headlights, ML Sound and the Radar Cruise.... I'm not sure what other options it may have.

Overall I am very pleased (except for the scratch that showed up when I took delivery)

I just wanted to say hey!

The only question I had was the two parking sensors on the front don't seem all that useful. I believe my GS had 4 and it seemed like a good system. Is there any way to kick up the sensitivity?

Past cars include 1994 ES300, 2004 ES300, 2006 IS250, 2010 HS250, 2007 GS450h.

LED headlights in the Hybrids? Didn't know

check into the LED fogs that came standard on the 2015's. They'll fit your 2011, and will complete the look.

Congrats on new car

The radar sensors are the 2 on your corner fronts. They are not parking sensors.

They are definitely the parking sensors. I just wish there were 4, like on my GS.

The Radar sensor is behind the emblem.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I forgot to add that I have the HUD too. I find myself never looking at the regular speedometer. Very handy feature.

I recall some settings for the parking sensors on my 2013 RX, but they were a little different than the 2010 so I can't definitively say if yours has that or not. I seem to remember being able to set how wide of an angle I wanted them to scan.

FYI - the radar sensor is behind the front grill emblem.

I recall there are sensitivity adjustments in the settings. I thought even with them adjusted they were not accurate enough to help. I could gauge the distance about the same when it went constant beep.
