Right Price
Hello, I'm trying to buy 2013 RX350 with premium package. It has very low miles on it... 2300 (yes 2300 miles).
Asking price is $30500 before TT&L.
The only issue with it ... The right rear door is damaged close to the bottom like it scraped against something. There is a line that dragged to the right front door.
The carfax checked OK.
Deal or not???

Even with the damage (I am assuming you'd need to paint both doors?) it's a fair price if not CPO, a CPO should not be offered for sale with that damage.
You're buying the miles basically.

Buying used I always look at 'can I turn around and sell it tomorrow and get back 'most' of my money'? Can you spend money to fix the door, and sell it for roughly what you paid? Is the low mileage that much of a premium?
When I bought, i could have gotten a lower mileage vehicle, but at least a year, maybe two, older. I am okay with the higher mileage as I'll probably drive it roughly 5000 miles a year - so in a couple of years it will be regular mileage. You seem to value the lower mileage, I went for newer, with warranty. They're all trade-offs.
Good luck.

For me, a car should come with a blemish - give me a few bucks off to make me feel good - and then I can get the "first dent" out of the way immediately - and just enjoy the car.
Look at it this way: Whatever you do to it (in the form of a repair) will make the car better than when you bought it. That's usually not the case with buying a blemish-free car.

My point is this: don't jump to any conclusions based on low mileage. Everyone has different needs and circumstances (like health) can change.

If everything checks out it seems like a decent deal. Since it has what sounds like minor damage why not try to negotiate the price a little.. It never hurts to ask.
