'13 450H noise and shaking on engine start
On a handful of occasions, when I start my 450H, there is a noticeable vibration that lasts a few minutes and goes away. It's usually happened on really cold days in Texas. This morning, it was very warm, it didn't vibrate but made some click sounds for several minutes. I'm still under warranty....but was curious if anyone had experienced this before

I was about to post this too. My '13 450h does the same thing. I noticed this the other day when the temperature was about 55*F. I hear crunching noises along with some rumbling. You can definitely feel it in the cabin but it goes away after 30 seconds. On warmer days, it's normal. I searched and can't seem to find anyone else with the same "issue." I haven't taken it to the dealer since my local dealer seems to think everything is "normal." My RX pulls to the right due to bad control arm bushings, yet it's acceptable to them.

Had this happen to me this winter, once, on the very coldest day of the winter (about -15F). 30 seconds of fairly rough running and then perfectly fine.
However, last year when it wasn't quite so cold I had this happen to me a couple of times directly after an oil change, and it threw an error code. I don't remember the specific error code, but it had to do with low oil pressure in a VVTi control unit that manages cam timing. Happened two days in a row on a cold (but mild weather) start. Ran like crap for a minute then fine, cleared the code. Next day did the same thing, cleared the code. Never happened again. I attribute it to a bit of dislodged gunk from the oil change preventing proper control of the valve timing and a good run got rid of it. On the really, really cold day it seemed the same result, and guessing it took a bit of extra time for the VVTi system to respond and properly time the camshafts. That's my mildly educated guess.
