2013 RX accident. I think it's totaled.
I got my 13 RX with 25K miles involved in collision during snow storm. The car began skidding without control on the road and ended up hitting a tree on the side of the road.
Take a look at the pictures. I was going less than 25 mph cause it was snowing badly and road wasn't cleared yet. I think I hit an ice and lost control. There was 3 more cars collisions on the same part of the road while I was outside of my wrecked RX waiting for a tow.
I just bought it 3 month ago and put almost 3K miles after.
I am just surprised how big the damage was. The tree wasn't huge and there was no such a big impact. But look at the picture, everything turned into crumbs.
I don't think it would be possible to repair it to the original condition. I mean, sure, it is possible but who knows what hidden issues it could bring down the road after replacing all the wire harness, sensors, suspension and steering and other electrical and HVAC components.

No, I don't play soccer!
germangs, so sorry to see your RX injured But more importantly I hope you're ok. Insurance will take care of the repairs or totaling it out. Unfortunately with ice there isn't much you can do. Be careful and keep us posted.

They may still repair that as long as the structure isn't compromised. I think you sold many people on the benefits of snow tires in colder climates. It really is the best investment for your car, your safety as well as others. Hope things work out!

well first and foremost you are ok right? secondly, you would be surprised what they can fix these days. i would however take it to a tried and true body shop in your area.

Let us know what the insurance folks decide. The usual formula is if the repairs cost more than 75% of what they say the car is worth, then it will be totaled. I know it looks bad, but the damage is limited to the right front. I predict they will want to repair it.

Glad you are OK. Looks like a lot of damage. My guess would be $15,000 in damage but probably not enough to total it. There are Lexus certified body shops. I would talk to your dealer.

Did any airbags deploy?

Thanks everyone for your responds. I am fine and feeling great. I did not get hurt at all. The RX is in body shop getting ready for the supplement re-inspection. The airbags did not deploy. A lot of hidden damages were uncovered after removing the body panels. There is additional damages to multiple wires, hvac components, steering and suspension, undercarriage. I will keep you posted. So far from the first estimate for the visual damages that I captured on the posted pictures it is only $7500.
