Default Decently Rated Liftgate Struts?

So, the left strut on my hatch is starting to weep a bit, and the hatch is no longer opening to its fullest arc without a little encouragement.

I know that Sewell is no longer the go-to option here, so I looked on Amazon, eBay, carparts.com and auto anything.com for options.

The latter two had nothing. Amazon had a set that were $60, but with underwhelming reviews. eBay had something, but no reviews or ratings.

Anyone replaced theirs yet, and been HAPPY with the result? I'm willing to pay more than $60 if the results are better than the cheap Amazon option.

TIA!

You can try http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/ or Lexus South Atlanta. However the OEM hatch struts are a few hundred dollars if I recall correctly.

I'd recommend the OEM ones. I tried two sets of aftermarket ones and they were both dead in two years. At least the OEM ones will last as long as the original set.
