Angry Multiple Warnings (Maybe all indications?)

Got this awesome gift from my 2011 RX at merely 62k miles.

Most if not ALL the lights are flashing on the gauge cluster like a Christmas tree...

Drove it perfectly fine in the morning, went home parked the car.

Came back out to start the car after 30 minutes and taadaa! Suprise!

Has ANYONE seen or dealt with anything like this on their Lexus???

Things that are not working that aren't listed on the gauge cluster:
1. Power Steering
2. DRLight
3. Center Console (no display or backup camera display)
4. HVAC
5. Gear Indication
6. Power lock on doors
7. Power Lift Gate
8. Speedometer

Probably has more stuff that i'm not aware of...

I'm stump, left the car at my friends auto shop. Awaiting on their diagnostic to see what's wrong...

Just want to see if anyone on the forum has seen something like this...

Original Battery should last > 5 years. You can check yourself where you stand based on manual--ours is half charged at 5 yearsl:
Battery Check: 12.6 - 12.8V = Full Charge, 12.2V - 12.4V = Half charged, 11.8 - 12.0V Discharged (20 mins after off)

Owners Manual notes that light with "steering wheel" and ! is Electric power steering warning light. I wonder if it is related to what we saw on ours the other day although, as you noted, yours is much worse.

I remember something like this on this forum. The poster swore it was not the battery, but guess what? It WAS the old battery that caused the problem. I think a new battery will solve your problem.
Please let us know.

BTW, no need to get a resentment towards your car.

I guess i wasn't as lucky as him. Changed battery still the same. Waiting on a Toyota technician to have a look at it. Will continue to update as this incident continues to progress.

Toyota tech confirmed its the ABS unit...

This invoice is just for the ABS unit alone... Not including labor and re-calibration fee (which I'm guessing it'll be priced into labor as well)...

Dude just a friendly suggestion please do not treat your car at Lexus of Bayridge, it's better to go to any other Lexus dealership but those guys.

itiramisu - I'm so sorry this happened. I understand your resentment. Are you under warranty?

So here is the run down of what was done to get the car back on the road...

1. ABS actuator modular unit ($2650)
2. Transmission range sensor ($200)
3. The whole fuse box wiring harness.... ($2000)

Prices are just for the parts before labor.

1. Problem wasn't just the abs unit as the lexus technician said in the beginning.
2. After changing the abs unit the faulty code went away but the transmission code still remains.
3. So next to replace was the transmission range sensor and code went away.
4. Now there are no more fault codes, all that remains was the "CAN Bus Communication error".
5. Tear the whole fuse box apart, because there are a section of it cannot be seen without tearing the whole thing apart.
6. Discovered 2 crimped wires grounded and a blown big lexus fuse...

Dealer don't sell the fuse box/harness in sections so had to get the whole thing...

After 3 weeks everything is resolved and car is back on the road...

I was considering trading in the car and get something else but... its still cheaper to have this fixed than to loose a chunk from trading the car in.

Sorry to hear you hd this big repair. Has me thinking about getting an extended warranty.
Did you complain to Lexus corporate? They might have given you some sort of accommodation or discount. Wonder if you could have bought the wire harness at a junk yard?

2yrs ago i remember similar multiple warnings (yes like christmas lights) from my 2010 RX350 dashboard (check photos below) and my local trusted lexus dealer took them 2 weeks to figure it out, at first they said its faulty ABS actuator module, i demanded to double check again for a senior technician, it turn out to be just the ABS/VSC sensor cable ($250) needs replacement.

The problem with your wiring harness doesn't support faith in vaunted Toyota/Lexus quality. Interesting it occurred after so many years/miles. Seems like the short blew your ABS nodule and trans sensor. I also wonder why you'd need to replace your entire wiring harness for a couple of bad wires, but then the evidence of bad wiring and the damage to expensive electronics kind of justifies.
