Any body change btwn 2010 and 2015?
I recently bought a 2015 RX 350, trading in my 2010 model. So I wanted to buy the window vent shades from AVS vent visors and the catalog shows they will fit 2010 but Not 2015 models.
I was under the impression that the 2010 through 2015 models were identical as to all the body panels. If they are identical then the 2010 product should fit on my 15. Could there have been a small change in the doors that made them just look identical but are in a small way different.
I even called the makers of AVS and of course the customer service representative was of no help at all. Has anyone else run across this and tried the 2010 product and find it to work on the current body styles. I can get the weather tech visors that just snap into the window channel but I don't like those

I'm struggling to think of any reason why they'd be different.
The RX did switch to dual pane windows, but my understanding is that it didn't drive any changes to the doors, so I am at a loss. I would assume they'll work fine.

I agree from a purely cosmetic perspective, but there can be subtle differences. There was a mild refresh in 2013 that resulted in a different grill and LED DLRs, as well as different tail lights. What you don't see is that they added some plastic panels under the car. I tried to install running boards that fit on a 2012 on my 2013 and they wouldn't fit as the mounting points were completely off.
So the moral of this story is that due to possible/subtle potential differences, make sure you buy from a reputable dealer that will refund your money if they don't fit and go for it.
